My unorthodox life returns to Netflix with a second season.
The show, which premiered in July 2021, follows the life of 51-year-old Julia Haart, who fled her ultra-Orthodox Jewish community and inspired millions around the world with her story of liberation.

Her youngest son, Aron Hendler, also appears, but in a lesser capacity, as he still lives with his father, Haart’s first husband Yosef Hendler, in Monsey.
According to Netflix, this season fans will see the Haart family deal with “an avalanche of personal and professional challenges” and the main storyline of the season will be Giulia’s breakup with ex-husband Silvio Scaglia, 64.
The former couple married in June 2019 and ran modeling agency Elite World Group together as co-CEOs before Scaglia quickly fired Haart from his position in February 2022 when their breakup became contentious.
Fans will see Haart fight for control of his business empire while also helping his children and closest friends solve their own life problems.
