The No. 16 Florida State Seminoles, 8-3 (5-3 ACC), are set to take on the Florida Gators (6-5, 3-5 SEC) Friday at Senior Night at the Fresh From Florida Sunshine Showdown at 7:30 pm ET ABC Standard Time. This will be the first time in the history of the series that the two teams will meet on a Friday night, with both programs taking center stage during prime time.
FSU is on a four-game streak after thrashing the Louisana Ragin’ Cajuns 49-17, and the Gators are in a lull after losing to Vanderbilt last weekend 31-24.
The game has been officially sold out since the end of September, with all eyes on the Seminoles, who are hoping to end their regular season strong in hopes of scoring ten wins when all is said and done.
Florida leads the series 37-26-2 and currently has a three win streak against Knowles. This will also be the first time the two head coaches will meet at the stadium, as the UF recently hired Billy Napier, who is in his first year at the helm.
FSU is currently the 10-point favorite according to DraftKings.
